Vedic Astrology - Mars, Venus, Jupiter, Sun
There has been a lot of planetary movement since the last forecast. I apologize for my sporadic postings the last couple of weeks, both with this forecast and my daily pod cast. I recently finished a relationship astrology book that I have been working on for months. I’m very excited about it. It is been well received. You can get more information about it here:

Venus is just moved into Gemini, and Mars is about to enter Pisces for a month and a half. But before we look to where we are going, let’s see where we have been recently.
A very violent several weeks has just ended, at least that is my prediction - that things will subside for while. This is largely based on the proximity of Mars for the last couple of weeks. Mars has been in Aquarius, joined Rahu and Uranus. As most of you know Uranus is not generally used in Vedic astrology, but when the visible
planets transit these outer planets, especially by conjunction — things happen. Mars is always the planet that we look at for violence, explosions, arguing — et cetera. The North node, Rahu — is the planet of unpredictability. Mars/Rahu conjunctions are notorious for potentially violent people coming unhinged. Actually, Mars in conjunction with either of the Nodes shows that real possibility, especially in Rahu Nakshatras, as was the case on the day in question. Uranus is also planet of eccentricity in western astrology. Regardless of what Vedic purists would say, I have seen Uranus work too many times in conjunction, opposition or square a personal planet, to ignore it any longer — the same with Neptune and Pluto.
This troubled young man in Virginia was classic example of the deadly possibilities with these planets in Aquarius. Aquarius is the sign of society at large. Although this young man shot many individuals, their anonymity to the shooter clearly shows their representational nature to him. He didn’t shoot people that he knew, he was making a statement against the society that he felt oppressed him, etc. especially compelling on the day in question was an exalted sun, and a debilitated mercury were also influencing.
The exalted sun is seeking power, but the debilitated mercury doesn’t have the discrimination or flexibility or imagination to actually manifest that power in a creative and useful way. On the day in question the moon was conjunct the debilitated mercury, very dark in the sky — almost new.
The shooting occurred on the 14th lunar day of the waning moon, perhaps the most inauspicious day of every lunation cycle.
Late Sunday night, Mars will enter Pisces for six weeks. This will put him in an exchange with Jupiter. I discussed this favorable exchange between Mars and Jupiter earlier in the year. This will be a six-week opportunity for us to align our personal philosophies with power -of forward moving and courageous actions. In other words, will be able to walk the walk not just talk the talk - especially as it relates to spiritual matters. This is because Mars is in Pisces, a mystical and expansive sign, will buy Jupiter. We must always keep zodiac in mind and realize that after Pisces, Jupiter enters his own sign of Aries. So, in many ways we have about three months of powerful Mars energy ahead of us.
The next six weeks will be a great time before re-clarifying and prioritizing your spiritual philosophies and routines — as things could have gotten a little scattered recently with Mars affected by both the North node and Uranus. Then in mid-June, when Mars enters Aries, you can really hit the ground running with a new plan and inspirations.
Venus just entered Gemini on Wednesday, May 2. We are feeling a bit more playful and lighthearted romantically all of a sudden. Venus through Taurus was pretty cool — at least up until a couple of weeks ago when Mars squared her, then Rahu and Uranus did the same. So perhaps we can just give her partners a break on what happened between April 22 to April 30, and hope they will do the same for us.
On June 3 there will be a very powerful and direct trinal aspect cast from transiting Jupiter to Mars. Jupiter will also be opposing the sun within 2° of orb - and in trine to Saturn within 5° of orb. This is an incredibly auspicious transit for transformative spiritual practices and rituals, like I mentioned above.
The full moon on May 30 would be an excellent night for a ritual to remove darkness from your life as this powerful alignment of Jupiter, Mars, the Sun and Saturn will occur on the waning cycle of the moon.
