Mercury is about to change signs. Mercury and Venus have been exchanging signs for the last several weeks, with Mercury in Taurus and Venus in Gemini. On Friday Mercury will join Venus in his own sign of Gemini. This will increase communication skills, playfulness, ingenuity and creativity. The exchange between Mercury and Venus has been quite favorable, yet they are about to improve. Mercury will be in Gemini until August 1 — going forward, retrograde, then forward again. Those with a powerful air sign orientation will flourish at this time. Improving social contacts and developing more flexibility and tolerance for everyone’s opinions will be supported.

Mars in Jupiter continue to exchange. Mars from Pisces, Jupiter from Scorpio. Although violence in the world continues, our hearts are more settled and internally focused on spiritual matters, since May 8 or so — when Mars entered Scorpio. There may have been some psychological turmoil the last couple of weeks that demanded our attention and challenged us to face ourselves. This reckoning has brought about greater courage. On May 5 I wrote, “This will be a six-week opportunity for us to align our personal philosophies with power - our forward moving and courageous actions. In other words, will be able to walk the walk not just talk the talk - especially as it relates to spiritual matters,.. The next six weeks will be a great time for re-clarifying and prioritizing your spiritual philosophies and integrating them with your routines”. Mars and Jupiter both in water signs for the next several weeks brings about the desire for emotional strength, conquering our emotional fears through discipline and proper teachings.
