Capricorn is ruled by the planet Saturn, the planet of limitation, structure and determined effort. It is through these things that we protect ourself and feel safe. Saturn is also the planet of our fears. We rely upon his energy to alert us to danger.
In response to these possible worldly dangers we take actions oriented towards providing structure and long-term protection. Those ruled by the planet Saturn, like yourself, may have a tendency to simply view the world as a series of dangers that we need to be protected from. At times, the actions we’re taking to protect ourselves may cause us to create a prison from which we must then escape. Feeling safe and protected is one thing, feeling insulated from the flow of life is another. Thus be careful not to be entirely fear based.

In the last forecast i wrote:

Saturn enters the sign of Leo on October 25, not the sign of Cancer.

For the next week or so Jupiter and Mercury will be closely joined in Libra, making it an ideal time to study astrology or other similar healing pratice. Mercury and jupiter conjunctions align the detail oriented mind (Mercury) with the bigger picture. (Jupiter) When these two planets join and associate with Venus it forms a Saraswati Yoga, adding prosperity to the mix - as venus rules prosperity. Venus is not joined, in fact she is in a bit of trouble, but exhanging with Mercury (in Mercury’s sign and Mercury in hers) shows promise. Also Jupiter and Saturn will maintain a very tight square until October 25, squares show a structure, thus long term support for these efforts will be rewarded. So here we are, hanging in there with a debilitated, combust Venus, a combust Mars and the four slow-moving planets hovering at the edge of their signs. This is a good time for introspection and spiritual practices and frankly, not much else. Relationships with other people seem bewildering and hard to grasp. Our capacity for just feeling happy and joyful also seems hard to come by. It doesn’t feel like we have a lot of courage or discipline to fight to improve this malaise either, with Mars combust in nitpicky Virgo. It seems the best we can come up with is criticizing our self and some domestic laziness. We’re standing at the brink of a major shift that is about to happen. By the end of this month both nodes, Jupiter and Saturn will all be in different signs. In fact all four of these slow-moving planets will shift within a week of each other. I’ve never seen all four planet shift at the same time this way.
As I wrote several weeks ago during the eclipse, when Ketu and Saturn hit the sign of Leo, expect there to be a major shakeup in the landed power in the world. That can mean in this country, in other countries, at work — you name it. The shocking revelation of the North Korean nuclear tests seems like an ominous reminder of this landed power structure about to come undone. North Korea and Cuba represent the last of the old totalitarian communists countries. Have you noticed Fidel Castro’s health lately? The prediction I made about a congressional overturn and upheaval also seems more and more likely with this latest Republican scandal. Whether justified or not, this Foley fallout is smearing the entire Republican party, creating the impression that they were more interested in holding onto power, hiding the embarrassment of inappropriate conduct from this member. The new paradigm for the next couple of years will reward those who are for progress and likely punish those who are trying to cling to the status quo. Within yourself, you will likely learn the value of humility in any way in which you are seduced by power or enthroned in your worldly nature. We are here to enjoy the world, but we are not of the world.
